A written agreement for each engagement
Paid work is contracted with DASHER CONSULTING LTD. Before it begins, we agree the proposal and applicable service terms in writing. This page explains the process; it is not a complete service contract or an offer to supply a particular result.
- Scope and deliverables. The question, included sources, methods, outputs, assumptions and exclusions.
- Fees and timing. The agreed price or charging basis, VAT where applicable, payment schedule, milestones and dependencies.
- Access and responsibilities. Who provides data, permissions and decisions, and how delays or scope changes are handled.
- Confidentiality and security. Approved access and transfer arrangements, permitted uses, retention and return or deletion of project data.
- Personal information. The parties’ roles, lawful instructions and an appropriate data-processing agreement where required, including subprocessors and international transfers.
- Ownership and use. Rights in supplied data, existing tools, third-party components and the resulting deliverables, including any licence or transfer conditions.
- Acceptance and support. How outputs are reviewed, corrections handled, and any ongoing support or maintenance provided.
- Risk and ending work. Appropriate responsibilities, liability provisions, cancellation, termination and dispute arrangements.
Evidence over promises
Analysis can identify a useful pattern, reveal that data is insufficient, or show that a proposed model does not improve on a simple baseline. We agree how success is assessed and explain limitations. Further implementation or ongoing support is a separate scope unless expressly included.
Keep sensitive data out of the first email
Before sharing confidential, personal or regulated information, agree a suitable transfer method and the relevant contractual protections with us. The public website does not accept dataset uploads.
